The Jets will tip-off their 2012/13 BBL Championship campaign on Sunday 23rd September, when they host BBL new boys Manchester Giants at the Northgate. The campaign itself starts on Friday 21st September with a full slate of three games.
While the BBL Championship starts the season, the first piece of silverware up for grabs is the BBL Cup – the final of which will take place on Sunday 13th January at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham. The Jets have been drawn against One Health Sharks Sheffield in the first round, with ties to be played during the weekend of the 12-14 October.
In the revamped BBL Trophy competition the Jets have been drawn against Prestige Homes MK Lions in the first round, with ties to be played between 28th December and 6th January. This year the competition is a straight sixteen team knock-out competition featuring three non-BBL teams, with the winners of this tie advancing to the one-legged quarter-final stage.
