Claire House is a centre of excellence, providing 24 hour respite, palliative, and terminal care for children and young people from 0 - 23 years of age with a life threatening or life limiting illness, and their families. Claire house is a registered charity and relies entirely on the generosity and help of people in the region for all of its income and running costs. The Organisers estimate that they need to raise £160,000 every month.

Janet Ratcliffe, Head of Appeals Claire House said “We are absolutely delighted that BiG Storage Cheshire Jets have chosen Claire House as their Chester charity partner for 2008/9. We start each year needing to raise £2m from donations and the work of The Jets will be a great help.

Pete Hawkins BiG Storage Cheshire Jets Director added “Having recently met the dedicated team at Claire House, and seen the tremendous work they do, I genuinely feel that we can’t help but do everything in our power to support the outstanding work that they do. I hope our profile in the North West will not only raise money directly for them but also ensure more people are aware of the hospice and support the work they do.”

Further news of additions to the squad, community initiatives and   more details of the charity work are expected in the near future.
